New blog: LUNJASKY

Dear followers!

I'm sorry I've been away for so long, there have been a lot of things happening in my life and I couldn't find the time to blog. So much stuff happened since I last wrote on this blog! After so much time off from blogging I've wanted to turn a new leaf and start a whole new blog. I always felt that I couldn't change the theme of this blog as much as I wanted, so I decided to start a new blog on a different platform. I really like the look of it, it looks exactly like I've always wanted it to look.

The girl in the mint scarf

The second I saw this scarf in an H&M store I remembered the book Obsessions of a shopaholic. One of my favorite book series, the adventures of the main character Becky are so funny, that I laughed myself to tears a couple of times, while reading the books. Anyways in the books Becky sees a beautiful green scarf in a store, falls completely in love with it and imagines herself, how people would call her The girl in a green scarf. So that was the thought that crossed my mind while I was buying this beautiful fuzzy mint scarf.

The Netherlands

As you may already know my dad lives in Rotterdam in the Netherlands. Which is kind of awesome, because me and my sister go there at least a few times a year and we always have a lot of fun. Amsterdam is a must, we go there almost every time we are in Rotterdam. It's only an hour away by car. Amsterdam is one of my favorite cities, it is beautiful with it's little canals and bridges. And of course not to mention there are some of my favorite shops in Amsterdam, like Brandy Melville and A&F. I hope you like this post!

On the bridge

These are the photos we shot in the city on a chilly Sunday morning. This bridge is quite new and absolutely perfect, it looks even better at night because there are lights underneath your feet when you walk on it.
I decided it was appropriate to wear a vivid color that day in contrast with the foggy weather. Lately the weather has been quite warm for a November but kind of shitty :). It's been raining non stop and I haven't seen the sun for a few weeks. But other than that life's been pretty good. I've been working a lot at the swimming club (best job ever :D) and the classes at the university are becoming more and more interesting every weekend. I didn't even have any time to check the new collection Wang x H&M..

In the pool

I couldn't wait to show you these photos. They were taken in the abandoned pool near Ljubljana. It was such a perfect day for a photo shoot in the ruined pool, because it was very foggy and it added to the mystery of the location. The pool is surrounded by the fence, so me and Katja (photographer for the blog) had to climbe over it to get on the set. It was pretty exciting and we were both a little bit nervous and full of adrenaline throughout the shoot. But fortunately nobody came by and so we managed to shoot this awesome photos.

This location is also perfect for me, because I practiced swimming for seven years and now I teach it. I couldn't have asked for a better job!:)

Now about this look. I wanted to achieve a darker vibe, especially because of the location and the weather. I borrowed this cool jacket from my mum.

The blue dress

This dress is my absolute favorite among all my summer dresses. I still remember how excited I was when I first tried it on in a store and knew this was the IT dress for me, absolutely perfect. The fabric is so light and when you walk in it, the dress kind of waves behind you. 

The photos were taken on one of the many beautiful beaches of Netherland. My sister and I did a photo shoot this summer, while visiting our dad, who lives in Rotterdam. The weather cooporated with us, because it was just enough windy to create a soft, wave like movement of the dress. When I look at this summer, I really start to miss the warm and sunny summer.

Beautiful fall

Fall is probably my favorite season of all, at least until the weather is so perfect and you can wear those comfy autumn outfits. I love the warm colors that represent this season and how beautiful tree avenues look like. We shot this look in a big park called Tivoli, which is full of tree-lined lanes.  Lately I've been super busy. A few times a week I work for Amnesty International on the streets, which is pretty hard and kind of stressful and later in the afternoons I teach swimming, which is great, because I love working with kids.  On Friday and Saturday I go to University classes. Psychotheraphy is really intresting and I love learning new stuff about it. Anyways I hope you like this post, it is one of my favorites!
